De Traverse Chair en Armchair zijn ontworpen voor HAY door Erwan Bouroullec en maken deel uit van een collectie tuinmeubelen die is ontworpen om op natuurlijke wijze te versmelten, waar deze ook wordt geplaatst. Erwan Bouroullec is a French designer and artist based in Paris. He attended the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts in Cergy before starting Bouroullec Studio with his brother. Together the design duo has transformed the design industry, offering new perspectives of materiality and purpose with an international portfolio that includes furniture, architecture, and artworks. Erwan uses a technically minded approach to create flexible, functional designs in his collaborations with other artists and creatives on multifaceted projects. For HAY, he has designed the Traverse Collection.
